With the success of “Scary Movie 5” (snigger), Ashley Tisdale is seemingly convinced her future is deemed more worthy than sidekick roles in imminent Nicolas Cage duds. As such, the cute blonde has exited Hollywood’s remake of the religious-themed “Left Behind”.
According to Variety, “Big Love” actress Cassi Thompson has jumped at the chance to take Tisdale’s place.
Vic Armstrong, the veteran stuntman on flicks like “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, is directing (and keeping Cage’s hair in-place).
With Hollywood’s sudden determination to remake Kirk Cameron classics, I do hope they soon look to doing something with “Like Father, Like Son”. Endless possibilities…
