Again with the “Superman” rumours, I know. Still, I think the jigsaw is coming together.
News hit yesterday – actually, it’s not the first time Lohan’s name has been mentioned in relation to the film, just the first time anybody’s been able to in-a-round-about-way verify the report – that that fiery funnel of freckles, Lindsay Lohan was up for an unspecified role in the new “Superman” movie.
It was reported that Lohan had been reading with actor Adam Harris, who is reportedly one of the contenders for the role of Lex Luthor.
Harris’s representatives have since confirmed the rumour that their client is up for the role of Superman’s arch-enemy. Thus, there could be some truth to these reports that Lohan has tested too.
Howard Stern apparently mentioned on his show today that the role of Miss Teschmacher (the character played by the wonderful Valerine Perrine), Lex Luthor’s assistant, is currently being cast in the film. If this is true, then this has to be the role Ms Lohan has auditioned for, right?
Guess we’ll find out eventually.
Now, I could be wrong, but Miss Teschmacher wasn’t in the original “Superman” comics was she? You comic book dudes would know…
