Little Women reboot in the works at CW

G-228 Max (Russell Crowe) enjoys the company of his supposed long-lost cousin Christie Roberts (Abbie Cornish) in A GOOD YEAR.

The CW is set to develop a “hyper-stylized, gritty adaptation” of “Little Women”, the 19th century novel by of Louisa May Alcott.

According to Variety, the project will centre on “disparate half-sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy” as they “band together in order to survive the dystopic streets of Philadelphia and unravel a conspiracy that stretches far beyond anything they have ever imagined — all while trying not to kill each other in the process.”

Michael Weatherly is producing through his Solar Drive Productions in association CBS TV Studios. Alexis Jolly wrote the script.
