London Has Fallen to March

Focus Features is moving it’s “Olympus Has Fallen” sequel from January 22, 2016 to March 4, 2016.

“London Has Fallen” will be opening the same month the original did – and to a $30.4M opening weekend and a domestic cume of $98.9M.

Focus Features VP of domestic distribution Jim Orr told Deadline : “We’re convinced that we have the potential for a successful film with London Has Fallen and we want to give it all the time it needs in its production and put it in the strongest possible release window.”

Test screening scores for the new movie proved higher than the original.
