Lucifer renewed at Fox

Fox has ordered a full season of the DC Comics-inspired crime drama “Lucifer”, picking up an additional nine episodes.

This brings the total order to 22 episodes for the 2016-17 season.

Based upon the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo, from DC Entertainment, “Lucifer” is the story of the original fallen angel. Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with LAPD detective CHLOE DECKER to take down criminals.
