Luke Evans will star in maximum-security prison thriller “Three Seconds”.
Based on the best-selling novel by Scandi authors Anders Roslund and Borge Hellstrom, “Three Seconds” follows a man who is dispatched by the FBI to infiltrate the Polish mafia’s New York drug trade. Forced undercover in maximum security prison when his cover’s sprung and he’s abandoned by the FBI, his only chance of survival is to break out of the prison or die.
British director Otto Bathurst will helm with production scheduled for the US spring in New York.
Basil Iwanyk is producing with Ollie Madden of Shine Pictures. Erica Lee is exec producing.
