A sequel to Disney’s “Maleficent” is on the way.
According to Deadline, the first film’s writer Linda Woolverton is returning to pen the sequel. Angelina Jolie is being kept up to date with development, but she likely won’t commit until she sees a finished draft.
The first film, co-starring Elle Fanning and directed by Robert Stromberg, scored a sumly $780 million at the box office.
