“Bourne Ultimatum” and “Green Zone” director Paul Greengrass will write and direct a new film based on the assassination of Martin Luther King, according to Deadline.

Universal Pictures’ “Memphis”, which will film in June, will explore the shocking murder of the prominent American leader of the African-American civil rights movement and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, who was shot down at a Memphis Motel in 1968. King was just 39.

Wonder if there’s a role in here for Matt Damon!? I’m sure Greengrass is thinking the same thing…
