Statham’s Meg surfaces March, 2018!

The previously-announced Jason Statham vs. Shark movie “Meg” has been scheduled for a March 2, 2018 release.

That’s quite a ways away, which suggests the film’s cavalcade of special effects is going to take a good 18 months to complete or Statham’s busy with other projects.

Based on the Steve Alten novel, the film teams Statham with Fan Bingbing. Filming is set to begin later in 2016 in China and New Zealand.
