The international announcement trailer for Sony’s “Trainspotting 2” has confirmed that production is underway and the film has been scheduled to release on January 27, 2017 in the UK.

Danny Boyle is directing with stars Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner and Robert Carlyle reprising their iconic roles of Renton, Sick Boy, Spud and Begbie.
