Megan Fox starring in Ninja Turtles movie

Megan Fox has been cast in producer Michael Bay’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboot, the filmmaker announced on his official site.

The Paramount production, which Jonathan Liebesman (”Wrath of the Titans”) directs, resurrecting the popular ’90s pop-culture heroes, reunites Bay and Fox for the first-time since “Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen”. Surprising that Bay would consider hiring Bay, considering the unflattering things she said about working with him post-“Transformers” (resulting in her being fired from the third “Transformers” movie).

Remember this!?…

God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.

It’s assumed that Fox will play friend to the Turtles, reporter April O’Neill, previously played on the big screen by the likes of Judith Hoag, Paige Turco and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

No word yet on whether she and Bay are planning to beat the crap out of each other in the carpark after the shoot.
