Hot from her turn on Netflix’s “True Detective”, film star Michelle Monaghan has inked a deal that sees her staying put in TV for a new drama series at Hulu.
According to Deadline, Mike Cahill is directing the first of the 10 episodes of “The Way”.
[the show] examines a family at the center of a controversial movement struggling with relationships, marriage and power, with each episode taking an in-depth look at what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want. Monaghan will play Sarah Cleary, a high level member of a controversial movement navigating the truths — and untruths — colliding in her life.
“The Way” was created by Jessica Goldberg’ Jason Katims’ True Jack Productions and Universal Television are producing.
