Well, this should be some pretty exciting news for “Resident Evil” fans. Earlier this week, Milla Jovovich revealed some plot details as to what we can expect in the upcoming installment of the series and one of the tidbits she revealed was that she hoped to bring back major characters together, which hints that all of the new characters will survive ”Retribution”.
As Clint mentioned briefly yesterday, our mates at Bloody-Disgusting say Michelle Rodriguez, who played Rain in the first film is said to be reprising her role.
BD also learned that Shawn Roberts will return as Albert Wesker in the form of a cameo.
Sienna Guillory, Colin Salmon and Boris Kodjoe also return with Paul W.S. Anderson directing.
Filming is currently taking place in Toronto and will continue in Japan and Russia, with a September 14, 2012 release in 3D.
