Sarah Hyland, of “Modern Family”, will play the wife to Lane ‘Prison Break’ Garrison’s character on History/Lifetime’s new “Bonnie & Clyde” series.
Lead roles in the sandy-booted shoot ’em up are played by Emile Hirsch and Bonnie Parker, with a number of other notable thesps including Holly Hunter, William Hurt, and Jack Thompson (whose casting was exclusively reported by Moviehole a few weeks back) filling the plum supports.
The Hollywood Reporter says of Hyland’s part :
Hyland will play Blanche Barrow, the wife of Clyde’s brother Buck (Lane Garrison) and the famed outlaw’s partner in crime in the Barrow Gang
Aussie Bruce Beresford directs the four-part mini-series.
