Though the fourth season is still a week away from it’s season bow, HBO has renewed the hit series “Girls” for a fifth season.
The net’s president of programming Michael Lombardo made the announcement at tonight’s season 4 premiere in New York. No word on which actors will return for the fifth season – and with so many of them going on to big things of late, particularly Adam Driver – but it goes without saying that Lena Dunam is in for the long haul.
The fourth season of “Girls” premieres Sunday (opposite the Golden Globes).
