Hey there boys & girls – I’m once again taking over the reigns of the trusty ol’ Mailbag this week while “Hollywood Movie Star” Clint Morris gets drunk somewhere– it’s true, he’s a huge booze-hound (just ask his cat – he tortured it by removing its wang you know). Like any good designated driver, I’m clean & sober for this session, so without further ado – here’s the wacky world of that crack-head you know & love, Holden:
Q. okay i seen the trailer for dukes of hazzard 2 and let me tell you i think it,s really cool because it,s old story how duke boy,s began any i hope 3rd one is in the work,s be cause that be really some thing too it,s a old story it,s good – from holden
Q. put this messge on the mail bag okay i have an idea for mask rider movie it,s been 10 year,s since tv show was taken off tv i was thinking of they should chage the story make the car a little cooler and do some thing with the car waner bors they should pull off the movie some how and a great cast for the movie it,s kind like power rangers but it,s differnt story any how change the teen is chosen to become the mask rider his journey begins when finds a mopher and becomes the mask rider his hide out is a cave the and talks make the bike in harley davidson and the should be 1968 chevelle ss that talks – from holden p.s. make it really awesome
Q. okay i got some ideas for ya have found out if they going to make a robin movie i hope so they need to make the story more deeper and darker how dick grayson be came robin what did you think of that robin coustome any way from holden you have to make robin by him self – from holden
Q. okay frist question are they really going to do the knight rider movie i think that would be really cool to see on the big screen any way christian bale should be the michel knight that would be a good choice and get mr feny to play back as kitt of the car that would be my choice or will farell to play as kitt that would be my second choice – from holden

Q. okay back again what about darkman4 is there any they could pull off the story and the right cast mebers to play the as darkman i just thought of one eric bana to play as darkman that would be really good choice and rachel mcadams as sara the woman he once loved i thought an enemy here,s new one i thought of david ford here a little bit the story darkman is still looking for cure of liquid skin but can’t find the right one then a new enemy come,s to new york and he try,s to find darkman to his rescreach part to get his cure it,s more deeper and darker story that,s all i,ve got for show this to sam raimi – from holden

Q.Gossip Monkey: Arnold owns the “Crusade” film rights, so what’s the word and James Cameron’s involvement? Has Arnie brought this film to his friend to fine tune the script for a return? Also, Arnie is NOT in “Avatar”, but what about in “Battle Angel” as Ido? Cameron and Arnie = Greatest Action Team Of All Time! – ABking
A. Aw Jeez…. What does that make me – like third place to answer a question? That friggin’ ape Gossip Monkey is finally playing second banana huh? OK, first count is a definite no – Arnie has done not a thing with “Crusade” as of the current time, because the plan is still in place to return to the screen whenever his “Governator” period comes to a close – but whether that is directly related to “Crusade” is another matter – although I would hope to see it sooner than later. As for another team-up between Arnie & Mr. Cameron – it’ll always be the dream – nice choice for Ido though….
Q. > Hi there, “Dark Horizons” is reporting that Jim Carrey’s film with Cameron Diaz has been cancelled. This is 3 films in a row cancelled for Carrey. Do you think there is any chance he will jump onboard “Ace Ventura 3”? Clint Eastwood made “Dirty Harry” 5 because there were no better options. Maybe Carrey should do the same? – Chris Lindsay
A. I doubt it big-time. I think the plan for “Ace” 3 is gonna be pretty small-budget, knock it out on DVD as quick as possible kind of deal. Despite his ups & downs, Jim’s still a 20 million paycheque, which I think will probably cover “Ace 3’s” budget three times over.
Q. New to the site and LOVE it! Any news on the “Firefly” / “Serenity” front? Personally feel it was one of the best done shows (when seen in order) and one of the best sci-fi movies to come out of Hollywood in a long time. I bet Lucas is pissed he didn’t get Whedon involved with those prequels! – Ryan
A. I still haven’t seen “Firefly”, despite the boss man’s insistence that I’ve missed out on a fantastic show, but I did finally sit down and watch “Serenity” the other night – and really enjoyed it, but despite all of that, there is a touch of news that Clint reported on, but you might not like it though…. (A bit of an update, head to Whedonesque to read a post from Joss – Ed)
Q. Where’s the “Terminator 3.5” petition? – Brian
A. Same place as the “White Chicks” extended cut petition.
Q. Hello Clint, welcome back – Did the show “Still Standing” get cancelled? I hope not but I didn’t find it on the CBS website.. and there’s no news about it coming back for a new season. Any word? – Nick
A. Yeah, it’s a bit odd – from what I can tell, it hasn’t yet been renewed, it isn’t on hiatus – but it officially isn’t “cancelled” as such. From what I’ve seen, it did moderately well in the ratings – so it may pop up again at some point. Not to put it in the same league, but take a look at shows like “The Wire”, “Sopranos”, “Scrubs” – you’re looking at up to two years break between some seasons – with the exception of “Scrubs” though, it is a bit unusual to see a network show have a big gap like that..
Q. Any scoop on Wentworth Miller doing movies? Considering his current popularity, he should have been offered lots of projects! I’m soooo looking forward to see him on the big screen! Cheers! – Green Swan
A. What – you didn’t get enough of him as Dr. Lockwood in “Underworld”? I know the “Prison Break” schedule is absolutely insane for filming, so I don’t blame him one bit for taking it easy on his time off – I’m sure he’ll pop up again at some point on the big screen though..
Q. I am just a big fan of “Welcome Back Kotter”; Looking that you have it on DVD as a complete set is great but when I searched it on Amazon.com it has not been released. Are these legit or is it formatted from TV to DVD. – Diaz
A. I’m not sure what you were looking at in particular, but you’re right – there isn’t a full season set as such that’s been released. The DVD that is out is actually like a “Best Of” with 6 episodes which Amazon has for sale.

Ok, so what the hell is the deal with John Carpenter? Is he finished? Is he just going to make another crappy ass “Masters of Horror” episode? What happened to all those films he supposedly had lined up. It just seems like he’s the type of guy due for a come back if you got some good people around him. No more “Ghosts of Mars” (it hurt). Gee thanks. – Doom
A. Alright, first up – I’m a huge Carpenter fan, so whatever he does – I’m happy about (alright, I kinda agree with ya about “Ghosts”). Yes, it’s true he has another “Masters of Horror” episode in the can – and not much else on the go. He’s a lot like George A. Romero (and Uwe Boll ;)) in so far as he likes to have a lot of control – which isn’t a bad thing, but it is something that a lot of studios will shy away from.
Q. Will Natalie Portman be part of the “Indiana Jones” movie? – Setu
A. It’s pure rumour at this point, I think the story was that she was going to be playing Indy’s daughter or something like that. Personally I’m not thrilled at the prospect of going the kid route as a side story – but I don’t know – I just want to see the friggin’ thing!
Q. Do you guys have any news if there’s going to be a sequel to “Fat Albert”? I also would like to say thanks for running your site.. It’s awesome! – Logan
A. Clint ran into Kenan Thompson at Comic-Con and he was definitely up for doing another round as “Fat Albert” – but on the other hand, he didn’t think it was likely to happen at this point.
Q. Remember to do all you can in the coming weeks and months to help hype “Rocky Balboa” into the BIGGEST blockbuster in the BILLION DOLLAR series The countdown begins…DECEMBER 22nd! – ABking
A. Yeah, I’m actually looking forward to this one a lot. The preview for it got me really pumped up, so I’m waiting for opening day. In a bit of related news, I guess the rumour that Mr. T was in the film (even as a cameo) isn’t legit – T was on Howard Stern this week, and said that he couldn’t work it into the schedule.
Q. I’m sure you got plenty of this, but Victoria Beckham is not known as “Sporty Spice” she was known as “Posh Spice”. Just trying to help your article out about Katie Holmes possibly playing the Spice Girl. Thanks! PS- Is it bad that I know she was Posh Spice? God…I Stink! – Anthony
A. God, you think you feel bad – I knew that shit as well. It’s been changed since – but I cannot see this happening. Half of anything that bears Beckham’s name or image goes straight to Real Madrid (that’s why they’re one of the richest clubs going folks), so if there is going to be a film biopic, it would be more than likely after he retires from football.

Q. Looks like Paramount made a very rare move denying the Brad Pitt “MI-4” rumours as false to the press. Your site says there’s still an “MI-4” in the works while other news site says no. Hopefully the franchise is still alive and TC is still among the A list actors this time around. To base an actor on the tabloids and the cynical media is stupid like the rest of us and other actors are perfect. – Kurt
A. Yeah, it’s still definitely going ahead, and when it does, Tom will be back as Ethan. It’ll be interesting to see how the relationship goes between Cruise & Paramount when it does though, as far as I know, they are both equal partners in the franchise – Let’s just hope Sumner Redstone isn’t hanging around at the time……
Q. So I’ve asked this before, but things (may) have changed since the last time your site made mention of it. But is “Scream 4” a serious possibility, or is a lot of it speculation (on) your guy’s part? Also, if it is a real possibility, when will it happen, and who would be back. Thanks – Festy
A. From what I’ve been told about it, there is a story outline – but I don’t know exactly what it is. The only thing I do know for certain is that the Arquette’s are definitely attached to it when and if it goes ahead.
Q. Hi – How’s life?
Subject: “Robocop” Remake!
Sony Screens are they still planning to do this or not? Because the owner of “Robocop” is MGM but they have a new distribution deal with Fox studios, Screen Gems out of the picture with this new deal? Or is the Robocop property still in hands of Screen Gems? Or is it also possible that MGM is going to make a new Robocop movie? In an article I read that MGM is making a comeback with titles such as “Terminator 4” and the “Hobbit” budgets between the $ 150-200. – Robert
A. It’s all on Sony at the moment, and they were pretty hot for it not too long ago, but it does look like it has cooled off in recent times.
