The second season of NBC’s “The Mysterious Of Laura” ended on a cliffhanger. Sadly, fans will never know now whether Laura reclaims Jake — who had just proposed to another woman as the screen went to black.
Despite solid ratings, and a nice older-skewing fan base, NBC decided to axe the Debra Messing starring series. Word is it had less to do with ratings and more to do with the slate of new programming that the network wanted to make room for.
