Netflix has ordered a second season of its drug-fueled period drama “Narcos”.
Created by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro, the series centres on Colombian cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar and the Medellin Cartel.
Adam Fierro will take over as showrunner and exec producer for the show’s second season, replacing Brancato, who signed an overall deal with ABC Studios.
Wagner Moura and Boyd Holbrook star. Gaumont International Television produces. Jose Padilha, Eric Newman, Bancato, Miro and Bernard exec produce.
