Sony Animation are bringing the Ghostbsters back to the telly!
New animated series “Ghostbusters : Ecto Force” was announced today – via Variety – with the few specifics released pertaining only to it’s time period (2050 – the future!) and main characters (no familiar faces, but a new crew).
The show will be shepherded by original “Ghostbusters” director Ivan Reitman, which should please purists.
The last animated “Ghostbusters” series was ’80s effort “The Real Ghostbusters” – which was tied to Reitman’s two live-action efforts.
The new “Ghostbusters” flick unspools in theaters next month.
