Looper

Looper is a time travel movie, set in a near future where time travel doesn’t exist but will be invented in a few decades. It’s pretty dark in tone, much different from Bloom, and involves a group of killers (called Loopers) who work for a crime syndicate in the future.
Their bosses send their targets hogtied and blindfolded back in time to the Loopers, and their job is to simply shoot them in the head and dispose of the body. So the target vanishes from the future and the Loopers dispose of a corpse that doesn’t technically exist, a very clean system. Complications set in from there.
Rian Johnson directs a cast that includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano, Noah Segan and Piper Perabo.

Red 2

The sequel to “Red” will reunite our team of retired CIA operatives as they use their old-school style to take on a new set of enemies all across Europe.
Dean Parisot directs a cast that includes Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta Jones, Anthony Hopkins, Byung Hung-Lee and Neal McDonough.

Titanic : Blood and Steel

She was the world’s most famous ocean liner. Her name known to all. Her tragic end is legendary ripped open by an iceberg in the frozen seas one thousand miles from the coast of Massachusetts.
Yet far fewer people know the intensely dramatic story of RMS TITANIC’s beginnings in Edwardian Belfast. A story that is no less rich in incident than the story of her end, no less fascinating, no less shrouded in mystery and intrigue. TITANIC was built in the largest shipyard in the world. By the most skilled ship builders in the world. A project in which two ages collided. The luxury and social division of the past, meeting the technology, mechanical and scientific vision of the future. TITANIC was a testament to Man’s ingenuity, invention and ambition. But also a witness to
Man’s hubris, and ability to fly too near to the sun. In twelve thrilling hours of television, we follow the dramatic story of Titanic’s birth. But this is a series that covers far more than the details of her construction. More than anything, this is the story of the people who built the Titanic. It is a human drama. The story not just of a ship, but of a city and its citizens. A rich record of tremendous events, but also a gripping saga of daily lives led in the shadow of this great ship, and a world that was changing dramatically.
Ciaran Donnelly directs a cast that includes Chris Noth, Neve Campbell, Kevin Zegers, Derek Jacobi and Alessandra Mastronardi.
