A new trailer for director Andrew Niccol’s “The Host”, based on the novel by Stephenie ‘Twilight’ Meyer, has come online.
As Open Road Pictures’ PR spiel tells us, “The Host” “is a riveting story about the survival of love and the human spirit in a time of war. Our world has been invaded by an unseen enemy. Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact. Most of humanity has succumbed.”
In all honesty, it does look like good fun. Great cast here, including Saorise Ronan, William Hurt, Max Irons and Diane Kruger, should help see that it’s not the next.. “I Am Number Four”.
