New trailer for the re-issued Texas Chain Saw Massacre

The trailer for MPI/Dark Sky Films’ restored “Texas Chain Saw Massacre” has hit the web courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

Tobe Hooper, the director of the original film, helped with the restoration of the infamous 1974 horror flick in celebration of its 40th birthday.

“This 40th anniversary restoration is absolutely the best the film has ever looked,” Hooper told Variety in March. “The colour and clarity is spectacular, displaying visual details in the film that were never before perceptible.”

The restored version of the film will roll into cinemas across the US over the coming weeks.

Below you can catch the trailer and the cinema schedule, thanks to EW.
