Director talks up his plans
John Carl Buechler, director of the upcoming “Troll” remake (and the original one to boot) stopped by the offices of Bloody Disgusting to talk a little about his plans for the new flick – here’s an excerpt:
One of the main things we wanted to know about was the FX, which he explains “will be over-the-top and outrageous.” And in response to come of the blogs he’s read he writes, “Many are conscerned that the effects will be the thin CGI/video game style. This will not be the case,” he explains, “While we will emply the latest in CGI, we will also utilize a great many live-action effects.”
