Paramount and New Regency have solidified plans to co-bankroll Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah”, reports Deadline.
“Charlie’s Angels” scribe John Logan is on writing duties, charged with the task of excitedly telling the story of the biblical character.
“Since I was a kid, I have been moved and inspired by the story of Noah and his family’s journey,” Aronofsky said. “The imaginations of countless generations have sparked to this epic story of faith. It’s my hope that I can present a window into Noah’s passion and perseverance for the silver screen.”
Aronofsky is said to be set on Christian Bale for the lead role of Noah but Batman hasn’t shaken hands with Comissioner Aronofsky just yet.
