Patty Jenkins’ sumly Wonder Woman 2 deal

Director Patty Jenkins

Patty Jenkins looks to earn several times her original wage on the sequel to this year’s “Wonder Woman”, says Deadline.

After fighting for a pay rise on the sequel, Jenkins looks to become the highest paid female director in Hollywood thanks to the directing deal she’s making on the Warner Bros blockbuster.

While it’s not known how much Jenkins is being paid to shoot the sequel, it’s believed her fee is at least a match for any male director who has performed at this level.

Considering “Wonder Woman” made $800 million worldwide, a pay rise request definitely wasn’t asking too much.

“Wonder Woman 2” is due December 2019.
