Disney is planning to bring animated series “Phineas and Ferb” to cinemas, says Deadline.
The film will be a combination of live-action and animation.
The Disney Channel series follows two kindhearted suburban stepbrothers on summer vacation. Each day the boys embark on some grand new project, which annoys their controlling sister, Candace, who tries to bust them. Caroline Rhea (“Sabrina the Teenage Witch”) and Ashley Tisdale (“High School Musical”) are members of the voice cast.
My producing partner’s girlfriend is one of the big wigs over on “Phineas & Ferb” so I’m hoping this news mean, er…. [makes the sound of a cash register ringing].
