Posh is part of the Partridge family

Dave’s hot water bottle, Victoria Beckham, is set to start kicking some goals of her own. She’s eyeing a big-screen career. Yes, we know she did "Spice World" – but the memory of that baby’s been surgically removed from the noggin’).

According to Crienglish, the Sporty popstress will join Steve Coogan for the long-awaited "Alan Patridge" movie.

A source says, "The scripts for Partridge are obviously under wraps and writing is still in progress, but Victoria’s part is pretty much done and dusted. She’ll be the interviewee that finally allows Alan back on the airwaves with an incendiary chat and her part calls for some serious comic timing. She’ll add glamour to the project and prove she’s able to take the piss with the rest of them, it’s a brilliant move for her."

For those that haven’t caught TV’s "Alan Partridge", it starred Coogan as an insincere and skill-less chat show host. He frequently demonstrated his insecurities and total lack of knowledge about his guests’ lives during each "broadcast". In the follow-up series, he hosted a radio show.

"Alan Patridge : The Movie" gatecrashes theatres in 2007.
