Predicted this one : Armie Hammer exits Godfather series

After his recent troubles, no surprise to hear that Armie Hammer – who’ll likely struggle to find employment for a while – has departed Paramount+’s “The Offer”, a series which deals with the making of Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather” in the early 1970s.

The actor, who recently dropped out of comedy “Shotgun Wedding” for the same reason, would’ve played producer Al Ruddy in the film.  The studio is now on the hunt for a replacement.

Ruddy, Nikki Toscano and Leslie Grief executive produces the series with Michael Tolkin, who is also writing.
