Release Date Updates : Elvis, SpongeBob, Rumble

Paramount and WWE Films’ “Rumble”, originally due out May 14, has been delayed to Feb 18, 2022. The film, featuring the voices of Will Arnett, Terry Crews, Geraldine Viswanathan, Tony Danza, Ben Schwartz, and WWE wrestlers Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns, fixes on monster athletes.

Warner Bros have delayed Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” until 2022. The film, originally due Nov 5, 2021, will open June 3, 2022. The film stars Austin Butler as Presley, Tom Hanks as manager Colonel Tom Parker, and Olivia DeJonge is Priscilla Presely. “Elvis” was pushed back because it’s still in production in Australia. Sources say the film has another five weeks of material to shoot so it wouldn’t have been completed in time for its original release date.

Paramount has skedded “SpongeBob : Sponge on the Run”for a March 4 PVOD release. The film, a new trailer of which was released below, will be available on AppleTV, Prime Video, Vudu and other platforms, as well as the Paramount+ service.
