Michael and Lincoln will sell out.. er, I mean Cell out. Again.
TV Line reports that the rumoured “Prison Break” reboot is on, with both characters (didn’t one of them die!?) returning for the event series.
This will be the second series Wentworth Miller (Michael) and Dominic Purcell (Lincoln) have on the air next year, with their villainous turns in superhero jaunt “Legends of Tomorrow” hitting screens in January.
The series would be a dozen-or-so episodes, and feature a closed-episode storyline. In a follow-up piece, Deadline says that many of the show’s other original characters will also likely be returning, as well as new male co-lead. The storyline might potentially involve Lincoln having to free Michael – so a bit of a twist on the original concept.
It was apparently Miller himself who floated the idea to Fox TV, and they reacted positively to the suggestion.
