Producers already discussing ideas for a fourth Ant-Man

‘Quantumania’ won’t be the last solo outing for Scott Lang

Ant-Man is out to rival Thor.

Ant-Man and the Wasp : Quantumania producer Stephen Broussard tells ComicBook.com that a follow-up to the aforesaid pic is already being discussed. For those at home counting, that would mark the fourth Ant-Man movie to get up (There’s also been four Thor movies).

“We’re already thinking about it,” Broussard said. “It’s like, every movie’s [is] its own battle and you bear the scars of making it and wanting to make it great. But hope springs eternal, and you start to put yourself back together after the journey of making the movie. You’re like, ‘Yeah, what if we did X and what if we did Y?’ Like the wheels start turning, you can’t help yourself. I don’t want to say anything about specifically what those are, but yeah, you can’t help yourself. Those conversations, those whispers, have already started to happen between myself and Peyton [Reed] and Kevin [Feige].”

The new film, the first reactions of which went up last night, sees super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.

Quantumania also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O’Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar. It opens next week.
