Rachel Weisz to make the Bourne franchise Bloom?

One of the best SAG-card carrying actors out there, Rachel Weisz (“The Brother’s Bloom”, “The Constant Gardener”) is the frontrunner to play the female lead in Universal’s new “Bourne” flick.
“The Bourne Legacy”, from director Tony Gilroy, is somewhat of a spin-off of the earlier “Bourne” films (in otherwords, no Matt Damon) with Jeremy Renner playing another uncontrollable former employee of the Spy Inc. firm (or whatever the heck they’re called).
Weisz would play “an operative from a covert government program that is even more dangerous than the Treadstone brainwashing program that hatched Bourne”, says Deadline. In otherwords, she’s the Joan Allen character.
What might prevent the deal from coming off is Weisz’s commitment to Sam Raimi’s “Oz : The Great and Powerful” which is looking to shoot around the same time. Which one do you think Weisz would be more suitable for?
