Rose Byrne will be back as Moira McTaggert in “X-Men : Apocalypse”, says EW.
The “Annie” and “Bridesmaids” actress originated the role in “X-Men : First Class”.
“She’s a significant character in the movie,” “Apocalypse” writer Simon Kinberg told the outlet. “We ended ‘First Class’ with Charles having wiped portions of her memory of her experience with the X-Men. They are, essentially, strangers to her when she meets them.”
Byrne, next in Paul Feig’s “Spy”, reunites with much of the “First Class” for the threequel, due 2016.
