Could Ryan Gosling join Harrison Ford in Alcon Entertainment’s “Blade Runner” sequel?
Gosling is in negotiations to star in the film which will be directed by “Prisoners” helmer Denis Villeneuve and will see Ford reprise his role as Rick Deckard.
Hampton Fancher and Michael Green wrote the script which sets the sequel decades after the original. That’s about the extent of our knowledge as plot deets are being kept tightly under wraps. We’re also unsure about the character Gosling is in line for.
Production is set to begin in the summer of 2016. Ridley Scott (director of the 1982 original) will exec produce with Frank Giustra and Tim Gamble.
