Sarah Silverman is returning to Showtime’s “Masters of Sex” to reprise her role as Helen.
The third season of the show will see Helen reunited with her partner Betty (Annaleigh Ashford) and wanting to have a baby, which proves difficult for a lesbian couple in 1966.
“Masters of Sex” stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson.
Season 3 of the series is set when the famed duo are dealing with the glare of the national spotlight as their sex study is finally unveiled. Masters and Johnson’s work will have a profound impact on contemporary relationships, especially their own evolving three-way “marriage” with Masters’ wife Libby (Caitlin FitzGerald).
The third season of “Masters of Sex” will air on July 12 at 10pm on Showtime.
