Susan Sarandon, Rose Byrne and Oscar winner J.K. Simmons will star in writer/director Lorene Scafaria’s “The Meddler”.
The film centres on Marnie Minervini, a recent widow and eternal optimist who moves to Hollywood to be closer to her daughter, only to embark on a sea change all her own. Armed with an iPhone and a full bank account, Marnie sets out to make new friends, find her purpose, and possibly even think about dating.
Production is set to kick off later this month in LA.
Anonymous Content’s Joy Gorman-Wettels and Paul Green will produce with Sarandon and Steve Golin exec producing.
