Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg of Point Grey will produce MGM’s live-action “Where’s Waldo” movie.
The books are illustrated by Martin Handford and follow Waldo, the janitor/inventor in the red-and-white stripped shirt and hat, who embarks on adventures throughout space and time.
According to The Tracking Board, “an early iteration of the script built upon the time-traveling element, where Waldo accidentally activates a time machine and must find a way to get back to the love of his life, Wilma.”
Rogen and Goldberg will produce with Roger Birnbaum of Roger Birnbaum Productions and Tom Engelman. Eric Ellenbogen is exec producing for Classic Media Productions.
