Sharon Stone coming to TV in 2015

TNT has picked up Sharon Stone-starring drama “Agent X”, according to Deadline.

The network has picked up 10 episodes of the drama, with episodes due to begin in the second half of 2015.

The action-drama co-starring Jeff Hephner and Gerald McRaney was originally expected to debut this year, but was put on pause so it could be retooled.

“Agent X” centers on John Case (Hephner), a top secret agent hidden from the view of the public – and even from the President – who is trained and ready to serve, deployed only at the careful discretion of the Vice President (Stone). McRaney plays Malcolm Millar, the Chief Steward of the Vice President’s mansion and the keeper of its many secrets.

“Agent X is a perfect fit for TNT’s expanding lineup of action-dramas,” said Lillah McCarthy, SVP of TNT and TBS Original Productions. “It’s a slick, high-energy thrill-ride with lots of twists and turns, big action sequences and kick-ass stunts.”
