Sony Pictures has picked up the rights to… one of the only games ostensibly without a film deal.
According to Variety, “Assassin’s Creed”, the Ubisoft game series about Desmond Miles, a man who inherits the memories of ancestors, is headed to Culver City for the filmish treatment.
Sony also have film versions of “Uncharted : Drake’s Fortune” and “inFAMOUS” in the works so have seemingly come to the realization that the console’s where all the good stories are hiding these days.
