Sony Pictures has announced that director Marc Webb’s – and the Hawaiian shirt-wearing co-creator of Facebook that was screwed over by his partner and a lanky musician – “Spider-Man” reboot has been named : “The Amazing Spider-Man”.
Not to be confused with “The Amazing Mr Blunden” or “The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan”, “The Amazing Spider-Man” was, if I recall correctly, a title that was tossed around at one stage as a possibility for one of Sam Raimi’s movies.
In addition to informing us that we no longer need to refer to said film as “Untitled Spider-Man Reboot (2012)” Sony has provided us with the following ‘new’ pic :
