Former “Southland” star Shawn Hatosy has joined the cast of TNT’s “Animal Kingdom”, says Deadline.
Based on the Aussie film of the same name, the John Wells/Warner Bros Television Production fixes on a 17-year-old who moves in with his grandmother, and his uncles, after his mother overdoses. He is soon pulled into the family business.
Ellen Barkin and Scott Speedman are also onboard.
Hatosy, also known for his roles in “Alpha Dog” and “Fear The Walking Dead”, will play the most dangerous of the brothers, Pope. Ben Mendelsohn played the role in the film.
