Steven Soderbergh downs a Bitter Pill

Looks like Steven Soderbergh as moved on and has found his next project to focus on. After exiting “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.” just about a week and a half ago, THR reports that “Contagion” director Steven Soderbergh will re-team with his “U.N.C.L.E.” writer Scott Z. Burns for a new project entitled “The Bitter Pill”, which is already grabbing bids to see which studio will acquire the rights.

No plot details have been revealed for Soderbergh’s next except that it is described as a thriller set in the world of psychopharmacology.

“24 Hour Photo” anyone? (Who are we kidding? Ha.)

Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing with Soberbergh’s longtime producing partner Gregory Jacobs.
