Suicide Squad 2 already a thing!

Cloaked in most reports pertaining to that David Ayer-Will Smith reunion flick “Bright” (which will also star Joel Edgerton) was the unstudied nugget that Warners are [already] thinking about a sequel to Ayer and Smith’s “Suicide Squad”.

Apparently Ayer wants to get going on “Bright” this Fall, before Warners needs him and Will Smith – who plays Deadshot in the superhero jaunt – back for the next “Suicide Squad” flick in 2017.

The studio must be pretty confident* the flick is going to deliver.

“Suicide Squad” opens August 5.

*Though lets also remember Warners were developing sequels to both “Superman Returns” and “Green Lantern” before both of those didn’t perform well-enough to warrant follow-ups. So there’s always the chance “Suicide Squad” could be a one-off too!
