“Orphan Black” star Tatiana Maslany is in early talks to join Jake Gyllenhaal in Lionsgate’s Boston Marathon bombing film “Stronger”.
David Gordon Green is directing this project (one of many Boston Marathon bombing projects in the works in Hollywood right now) about Jeff Bauman, a survivor who lost both his legs in the attack.
Gyllenhaal plays Bauman while Maslany is in line to play his girlfriend, whom Bauman was waiting for at the finish line of the race when the bombs went off.
John Pollono wrote the script based on Bauman’s memoir, co-written by Bret Witter.
