Terminator duo under Locke & Key

A couple of “Terminator” vets are uniting for FOX’s new graphic novel inspired series “Locke & Key”.

The showrunner is Josh Friedman who also did “Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, and according to Deadline, the star is Nick Stahl, who played John Connor in “Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines”. OK, so they never actually worked together… but still, they both hail from the same franchise.

The series, expected to air in the Fall, also features Australia’s Miranda Otto (“Lord of the Rings”) and “” star Sarah Bolger.

”Locke & Key” tells of Keyhouse, an unlikely New England mansion, with fantastic doors that transform all who dare to walk through them…. and home to a hate-filled and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all…!

Stahl is playing Duncan Locke, an art teacher; Otto is Nina, the mother; and Bolger is one Kinsey, one of the three kids.

“Locke & Key” is another addition to the resumes of screenwriters and TV producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (“Fringe”, “Transformers”).
