Earth’s mightiest heroes are headed to… London!
Disney/Marvel’s “The Avengers 2” will shoot in the UK, according to Screen Daily. Pinewood-Shepperton Studios, which has been home to both “Captain America” and “Thor”, will house the entire ‘Avengers’ team when the Joss Whedon directed blockbuster film gets underway later this year.
The film, due for release in 2015, will again feature Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Chris Evans as Captain America (and, in all likeliness, Samuel L.Jackson as Nick Fury).
The Pinewood-Shepperton studios recently played host to Disney’s “Muppets” sequel.
