According to the Highlander-Community, the immortal ones are shining their swords for a fifth adventure. A Fall 2005 start on the next sequel is being mooted.
According to Carmel MacPhearson, head of the HLWW Club, the fifth "Highlander" adventure is currently being re-written by David Abramowitz, and it’s on target to go before a Nikon before the end of the year.
It’s rumoured that the previously planned "Highlander : The Source" isn’t happening now, and David’s working up an all new story. It was apparently announced at Cannes that the troupe behind the series plan on making an all-new "Highlander" film trilogy.
The new script is said to include the characters of Duncan McCloud, Methos and Joe Dawson played by Adrian Paul,Peter Wingfield, and Jim Byrnes, respectively.
