“The Nun”, a spinoff flick from the “Conjuring” universe, has had its release date pushed back from July to September this year. The film, directed by Corin Hardy, now will be out in cinemas September 7, which is the post-Labor Day weekend in the States.
The same date last year was incredibly effective for “It”, but you have to hope that “The Nun” has a marketing plan in place that will get people hyped about being terrified by religion.
In “The Nun”, Taissa Farmiga stars as Sister Irene, and Demian Bichir stars as Father Burke. The latter is sent to Rome to investigate the death of a Nun. Via Deadline.
