Robert Redford has got himself some co-stars in Emma Thompson, Nick Offerman and Kristen Schaal.
The trio has joined helmer Ken Kwapis’ (“He’s Just Not That Into You”) independent drama “A Walk in the Woods” which started production on Monday.
Michael Arndt (“Little Miss Sunshine”) adapted the script from travel writer Bill Bryson’s 1998 memoir “A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail”. The book tells of Bryson’s attempt to walk from Georgia to Maine.
Nick Nolte will also star in the film for which Redford first acquired the movie rights in 2005.
