Thor scribe attached to Masters of the Universe reboot

Christopher Yost is set to do a rewrite on Sony and Escape Artists’ “Masters of the Universe” reboot”.

Yost will build on previous drafts by  Terry Rossio and Jeff Wadlow.

Based on the Filmation/Mattel’s 1983-85 “He Man and the Masters of the Universe” cartoon (which gave rise to a film starring Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella), “Masters of the Universe” centres on He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe, who goes head to head against the evil Skeletor to save the planet Eternia and protect the secrets of Castle Grayskull.

Producers are Escape Artists principals Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch.
